Day 01
The 40 Hairpin Bends & Cascades
- Morning Pick up from your location. Begin the thrilling ascent up the 40 hairpin bends. Stop at the gushing Monkey Falls for a refreshing break and Loam's View Point for a spectacular aerial view of Aliyar Dam.
- Afternoon Arrive in Valparai and check into your homestay/resort. Enjoy a scenic drive to the sacred Balaji Temple, beautifully tucked away amidst dense tea estates.
- Evening Relax by the serene Vellamalai Tunnel River or take a peaceful stroll through the sprawling, endless tea gardens as the mist rolls in.
- Night Enjoy the cool, pristine mountain air and a relaxing overnight stay at your resort.
Day 02
Deep Valleys & Mighty Dams
- Morning After breakfast, drive to the magnificent Sholayar Dam, the second deepest dam in Asia, surrounded by dense tropical forests and scenic backwaters.
- Afternoon Visit the Nallamudi Poonjolai viewpoint for breathtaking views of the Anamudi peak, deep valleys, and cascading waterfalls. Keep an eye out for the rare Lion-tailed Macaques and Nilgiri Tahr.
- Departure Begin your descent down the scenic ghat road. Safe drop-off at your preferred location (Coimbatore/Pollachi) with wonderful memories of the hills.
